Glauberman Family to Speak on the Successful Transition of the Malco Business to the Next Generation 

Today, Malco Products, Inc., a family-owned and operated global manufacturer and supplier of professional automotive and marine detailing products, consumer household cleaning products, and specialty chemical products for fortune 100 consumer products companies, announced they will participate in the Smart Business 2022 Family Business Conference as panelists. 

The Family Business Conference is an interactive workshop with leading industry experts that provides the type of actionable insight necessary to plan for a smooth transition of family businesses. The Glauberman Family is part of a dynamic lineup of panelists that will share real-life examples of what separates success stories from failures. 

In addition to participating in the conference panel discussion, Malco Products, Inc. is also one of 21 Northeast Ohio companies to earn the 2022 Family Business Achievement Award and appears on the list with other local leaders such as Brunswick Companies, Howard Hannah Real Estate Services, MidWest Materials, Inc., and more. Malco Products was selected for the successful transition of the business to the fourth generation of the Glauberman Family in January 2020 and preserving through the pandemic. 

Earlier this month, the Glauberman Family was featured as the cover story for the September issue of Smart Business Magazine in an article titled “How Malco Products Prepared for a Smooth Transition into the Fourth Generation of Leadership.” 

“Malco Products founder, and my grandfather, Murray Glauberman built Malco as a legacy for future generations, but any transition plans he had were cursory, and when he passed away unexpectedly, it made the transition to the third generation more challenging,” said Seth Glauberman, President. “My dad Stuart Glauberman, Chairman, wanted to ensure the transition of Malco to me and my sister Lauren was planned out and executed during a time when he could still provide oversight and guidance, setting us up with the best opportunity for success.
