Along with an annual campaign that includes a dollar-for-dollar corporate match, our team actively participates in volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Whether it is donating school supplies to “Stuff the Bus”, cleaning up garden beds at local nonprofit organizations, reading aloud to elementary students for Read to Me Day, or supporting the various other bold goals of the organization, Malco employees give back to our community.

We are a corporation committed to continuous learning and our passion for education extends to the communities where we live and work. Malco has enjoyed our partnership with the Barberton City Schools for many years, through volunteering in classrooms, working with administrative leadership, donating to the athletics departments and even employing Barberton High School students.

Project Outrun’s mission is to empower and strengthen kids and their families as they battle pediatric cancer. Malco is a strong advocate of this mission, from volunteering our time to help pediatric cancer patients design shoes, to running alongside patients and their families, to giving our dollars to the cause, we stand with Project Outrun and the fight to end pediatric cancer!

Malco has been a strong partner of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank for many years. Through monetary and product donations, Malco and its employees are proud that we can give back to strengthen our community and help those in need.

Malco was proud to support a Habitat for Humanity house right in our own backyard. Team Malco employees spent volunteer days building the home, collected items to welcome the new tenants, gave a monetary donation, and shared the important work of Habitat.

Malco recognizes what a special program the Soap Box Derby offers to youth and realizes how lucky we are to have it headquartered in our own backyard. We are proud supporters of the derby and supply each participant and their family with a special Malco Automotive swag bag!

Malco is a proud member of the Specialty Equipment Market Association. This trade association consists of a diverse group of manufacturers, distributors, retailers, publishing companies, auto restorers, street-rod builders, restylers, car clubs, race teams, and more, that all come together to celebrate and support the automotive aftermarket.

Malco Automotive is a Founder's Club member of the International Detailing Association. The IDA is the leading association for professional detailing operators, suppliers, and consultants to the industry. The association is dedicated to promoting the value of professional detailing services, the recognition of professional detailing as a trade, and empowering detailing industry professionals at each stage of their career.

Scholarship Fund
The Household & Commercial Products Association (HCPA) established The Murray Glauberman Memorial Scholarship, to honor the late Murray Glauberman, 1986 Chair of the Board of Directors of HCPA. Every year, HCPA awards a monetary scholarship to a high school senior whose parent or grandparent is employed full-time by an HCPA member company.
